Greenie in Patchogue

Oh man I cant tell you how much I miss Utah! I miss the mountains and how clean our state is! I took it for granted and now I strongly regret it! NY is totally different! so flippin' dirty..and is totally another version from where I used to live in Peru. Crazy. I was home sick my first 2 nights here, mostly mission Utah's beauty! Not joking, but I honestly was considering returning..but i'm glad I didn't.

Anyway, I live in a town called Patchogue. I literally live 10min away from the ocean and that is walking distance! yea! Its so cool, my companion and I went running my first morning here, even though it was FREEZING, I still enjoyed the view so very much!

My new companion's name is Hermana Keele. She's from Rheno, Nevada. She's amazing! When we first got introduced, she literally ran to me and gave me the biggest hug ever! Ever since we've been good buds! She's so talented, plays guitar, sings......she's so talented i'd bet she does much more I just haven't seen it yet :D. She's so nice! She's a convert. She got baptized a year and so many months ago..thanks to a boy she met at school who was an awesome example to her and thanks to his influence she decided to accept the gospel in her life and now she's serving a mission! Awesome huh?? I've gotten to teach only one lesson so far, but its ok this week we're pretty full so we will be visiting lots of investigators and less actives :). One of our convert's brothers decided to get baptized last night! So he said he'll start preparing and before the end of May he'll get baptized! yay!!!!!!! Now we've got the sister, mom, and dad to work on! Even though their dad is atheist, anything is possible :D Nothing is impossible to God, so if He's will is for their dad to accept the Gospel so be it! haha.

The people in Patchogue are amazing! I love them so much! I'm still getting used to Hispanic people and getting kissed on the cheek..i still love them! We're not in a ward..it's too small for that so it's a cute branch.

As I get to know more people I will tell you more stories about them and what not.

Oh, I saw your cousin Caroline at the MTC and I took she took a pic of us..i cannot remember but since I didn't have my camera with me I didn't :( but she's doing great and the food didn't even affect her! she still looks good and healthy :) Shes very nice, btw, so sweet!

Simon will be 4 on the 25th of this month!!! woot woot!

Lets see..i hope I wrote everything I wanted to/needed to haha I don't have your letters on me right now so I cant remember what you asked but I think I did answer your email questions haha. I did receive your dear elder emails!!! loved them! thanks so much for writing me! I couldn't write you back  because we only had Tuesdays and we always had stuff to do that I couldn't sit and write..it was dumb but I couldn't break any rules.

Well I hope you're doing well. Heavenly Father does love you and cares so much about you. I love you so very much! Say hi to our bishopric from the Singles and tell them they're awesome!
