Patchogue is awesome! I love it here. It is finally getting warmer that we will be starting to go out and talk to people. That is called "Fearless" haha. But let me tell that is not a successful mission if you either don't poop in your pants, or get chased by a dog, or get bitten by a dog. I have gotten bitten by one..right on the butt! so the mish is pretty successful so far :)
Also, we were teaching this investigator named "Liz". Last Friday we went to teach her about baptism and confirmation. She asked why babies shouldn't be baptized so we had her read Moroni 8:8. "Listen to the words of Christ, your Redeemer, your Lord and your God. Behold, I came in to the world not to call the righteous but the sinners to repentance; the whole need no physician, but they that are sick; wherefore, little children are whole, for they are not capable of committing sin; wherefore the curse of Adam is taken from them in me, that it hath no power over them, and the law of circumcision is done away in me." And the first thing she asked, "So boys cant get circumcised?" Uhhhhhhhhhh.....I honestly didn't get her question until after the lesson. Ok, fine, like I got it but I was trying to push the thought away because the spirit does not dwell in unholy spirits right? But then Hermana keele was telling the others sisters we share the apt with (not anymore though they were asked to move out) and I was like...OH MY GOSH!!! I was so right!!! hahahahahaha the end of that.
I swear I will make more time to tell you more things from the mission. Just know that I am doing super well. I am getting used to being in NY and being able to understand that I am here for one purpose and that is to bring people unto Christ. I love you so very much and keep moving forward. Be wise and never EVER give up on yourself or on others.
